COPR is a local creative community-building and mentorship event for any and all creative professionals, as well as anyone aspiring to be.

Our goal is to help foster a vibrant creative community in Central Oregon that:

  • Shines the spotlight on local creative talent by offering exposure, networking and inspiration.
  • Aids and mentors the next generation of local creatives.

Conversational interviews with two accomplished local creative talents.

Our featured creatives will discuss their experiences in a sit-down conversational interview with Charlie Thiel, host of video podcast The Call To Create.

Jason Graham

(aka Mosley Wotta)

Artist, Musician, Poet, Current Bend Creative Laureate

Jason a.k.a. MOsley WOtta a.k.a. MOWO is a critically acclaimed “multimedia multiethnic multivitamin artist, performer, speaker.” His work as an Art Ambassador for Rise Up International in association with the US Embassy has taken him around the world to lead workshops, and he’s half way through a two year stint as the first ever Bend Creative Laureate.

Accomplished Action Sports Photographer/Videographer

Pete Alport is an award-winning nature and action sports photographer and videographer based in Bend, Oregon. His photos have graced many magazine covers and his production company has produced stunning ski and snowboard footage as well as a variety of commercial projects for a literal who’s who of outdoor, craft beer and action sports brands.

Creative genre-specific table talk and optional 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with experts in a variety of creative fields.

Genre tables will include Graphic Design, Photography/Videography, Fine Art/Illustration, 3D Modeling & Animation, Creative Writing and Web Design. Creative professionals will be available at each table for mentorship sessions (portfolio review, career guidance, advice, etc) or just general shop talk.
